The New Britain Chess Club supported this event with a dozen chess players and we wish to thank them. They meet every Tuesday at the Quartette Club.  Visit NewBritainChessClub.com   I will be organizing New London ChessFest III for July 2008.  This time it will be USCF rated and advertised in Chess Life and Chess Horizons magazines.

I am searching for a sponsor (to fund trophies & expenses) for a free chess tournament in any munipality in Connecticut or Rhode Island.  I am a USCF certified tournament director with 30 years experience.  Also, I am looking to form alliances with other organizations to conduct backgammon or chess tournaments in Connecticut or Rhode Island.
